Progress

I gotta say I have met some good and some great people in my time. But the one thing that the two have in common is the promise to make progress. I just learned tonight that another friend is leaving the country. That makes 2 definate and 4 possible. (The other two are 60% sure but haven't heard the final word. N'ough said.

This Blog is dedicated to the happy things in my life. Apparently I've been depressing people with the last few blogs and I need to be upbeat. I know it doesn't help that I write in the persona of Baxter Black

but I don't mind because he's a great cowboy poet. So these next few moments are dedicated to the newest expatriots and the good times associtated with both.

Ringo - Chiefs/Broncos WOW!, Ice Block Sister's Jeep, HQ Shots at Levee, Human Tornado at the New Heidelberg, Pink Salmon, drinks on your deck summer of 2002.

Mark - You Butt Naked at the J-school slums during a party, Milwaukee/Chicago good times - taking cabs and walking to your place not knowing where the fuck I am, throwing eggs at cop cars, smuggling bottles of wine out of Greek Bars. smiles.

Here's to you guys. May the travels bring wisdom and joy and a little pain to grow on.

I'll keep the beer cold for you - come back safely.
