The Weeks Ahead

I've decided to become very patient. They say patience is a virtue and for some reason I have lost this one. But reliving moments in my life over again I realize something is amiss. I credit Carolyn and Groundhog day for pointing this out. Unfortunately it didn't click until Monday morning when I woke up tired and slightly hungover again. "Can I have another one of these with some booze in it?" Ugh. My wallet and my head feel a little empty. Living like there's no tomorrow has it's price. Fame? Nope. Fortune? Not a chance. Miserable and repetative... Now were on to something.

I leave tomorrow for a trip to Minnesota. They say Bob Dylan made a similar trip to find Woody Guthrie. Travelling through ice and snow and he came back a changed man. Found the crossroads and made that deal with the devil. Who'd a thought the devil lived in Minnesota?

So maybe Trivia night will happen when I get back Thursday afternoon. Maybe it won't. I'm gonna hold out until I know what the crossroads has in store for me.

Have fun in Minnesota - shoot some ducks, eat a Moose - do whatever you gotta do man. Just don't hug any damn trees. Please. Hehehe.

Post some pictures though. Yes, pictures, lots of them. Even if you have to take them with a disposable camera.

"Sweet Vermouth, rocks, with a twist please."

Minnesota rules. Enjoy your trip to the first place I called home. :)

Being patient is cool and all - but your readers are anything but. I suggest you get off your patient arse and write me a shrubbery. Hehehe. Speaking of - I think I owe you guys an update as well!
